Kramer Micro Repair Warranty Terms
Kramer Micro Repair (KMR) offers a Ninety (90) Day Limited Warranty (warranty) on all the parts we sell. This warranty covers both the materials and labor on all parts. The warranty period begins when the part is received by the customer, as determined by USPS shipping confirmation where applicable. Should a defect be found within this time period, we will either re-repair the part, replace the part, or refund the purchase price less shipping costs at our discretion. We may require a defective part to be returned before replacing it. Buyers are responsible for the cost of returning parts. Should a buyer wish to return for a refund a part that is not defective, they may do so within 14 days, but shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the original payment amount and not refunded.
The warranty period begins when the part is received by the Customer, as determined by the USPS shipping confirmation, where applicable. Customer is responsible for making all warranty claims to KMR prior to the expiration of the warranty period. Customer's sole remedy, and KMR's sole responsibility for a covered warranty defect, shall be for KMR, at its sole discretion, to either replace or repair the product. KMR may, in its sole discretion, chose to issue a refund for the product rather than repair or replace it. Right of KMR to refund purchase in lieu of repair or replacement shall in no way be construed as a right of customer to demand repayment. At KMR's discretion, if a customer prefers a refund for a defective part when KMR prefer's re-repair or replacement, a refund may be offered, but a 15% restocking fee for the returned part may apply. This in no way constitutes a guarantee or promise of a refund.
KMR offers a LIFETIME warranty on repair services we perform. During the first 90 Days after repair, we will re-repair and return at our cost any parts that fail after repair. After the first 90 days, we will re-repair and return any parts that fail after repair and charge $15 for return shipping per part. If a part fails after repair within the first 90 days and is not re-repairable, we will credit the repair costs less shipping charges towards the purchase of a replacement. Saab Information Displays SOLD, not REPAIRED, may also be returned for re-repair after 90 days with only the $15 shipping charge applying. If a part fails after 90 days, credit toward a replacement may be offered by KMR, but no credit or refund is guaranteed or promised.
A part is deemed as "failed" only if and when the display becomes unreadable, or fails to display at all. A display missing only segments of pixels that do not prevent interpretation of the information on the screen has not failed. A display missing 2 or fewer time digits has not failed.
No warranty is included on repair parts when an individual or company other than KMR has attempted to repair the part before it is sent to us. We may be able to repair parts others have attemped to repair previously, but no refund is offered if the unit is unrepairable because of the labor and materials invested in the repair process. A credit of $35.00 for SIDs and $55.00 for ACCs towards the purchase of a replacement part will be given to SID or ACC repair customers whose parts we are not able to repair for this reason. The credit may not be used for anything sold on eBay, only full price replacements sold through this website.
Any dismantling, repair attempt, or use for other than the intended purpose of a part purchased from or repaired by Kramer Micro Repair immediately voids whatever is left of the warranty.
These warranty terms apply to full price, sold as "displaying perfectly" parts sold on eBay, but not flawed parts sold in auction format at reduced prices. Parts sold at auction are governed by the warranty terms specified in the auction.
These warranty terms as well as the product descriptions on other website pages and eBay constitute a completely integrated contract and no other discussions or discourse has any bearing on this final agreement.
