Your initial payment will be in the amount of the full purchase price of the SID for your car (between $200 and $260 depending on year and model).  After we receive your old SID in exchange, we will refund the portion of your payment held as a deposit, so you are only charged the $100 Exchange Service price plus shipping.

The pictures below are of perfectly functioning SIDs after we rebuilt them. Having a rebuilt SID is better than a new one, because a new one will lose its pixels just like the original. We will ship to you a rebuilt SID with a fully readable display within 1-2 business days of payment.  Just replace the SID in the box we send, and send it to the return address! Simple instructions for removing the old SID and installing the new one are available here.

Shipping cost is $15.00 USPS Priority Mail return shipping within the United States (2-3 Day).  USPS Express mail within the United States (Overnight) is available for $35.  International USPS Priority Mail (6-10 Day) is available worldwide for $35.  International USPS Express Mail (3-5 Day) is available worldwide for $45.

If your SID has severe damage other than missing pixels (such as a cracked screen), or someone else has attempted to repair or rebuild your SID, or we are not able to fully repair it to the same quality as the SID we sent you, we may not be able to refund the full deposit.  In this case, you will have the option of switching units back and only paying the repair cost for your unit.  If you are unsure whether your SID has been previously repaired, please contact us to discuss it before purchasing. If any light bulbs on your SID are burnt out, they will be replaced at a cost of $10 each.  Please email us and explain the condition of your SID if you are concerned.  We have SIDs for sale for all years and model Saabs!

SIDs and ACCs sent to us via a shipping method that requires a signature at acceptance void our turnaround time guarantee. You may ship using any method you choose, but please waive the signature requirement. If you do ship signature required, however, we will do our best to get your package, perform the inspection, and credit your deposit as soon as possible.  Packages may be safely delivered to Kramer Micro Repair without a signature.
