Removing the ACC From the Dashboard

Instructions for 93 and 95

1. Gently but firmly insert a small flathead screw driver with the tip covered in masking or duct tape in between the plastic of the center console and the grey plastic ACC housing. Pry the left edge of the ACC away from the dash (the woodgrain surface). With a little force, the edge should "pop" right out.

2. Perform the same maneuver on the right side of the ACC until the ACC is totally free of the center console. Pull the ACC out gently, careful not to put too much stress on the wiring in the back.

3. Unplug the ACC from the center console by pushing in the latch on the plug in toward the center of the plug. Pushing in and up, rolling the plug out to dislodge the hook holding the other side of the plug in. Once the ACC is free from the plug, it's ready to mail!
